Executive Director of Hudson-Fulton-Champlain,
Quadricentennial Commission

Tara Sullivan is the Executive Director of the Hudson-Fulton-Champlain Quadricentennial Commission. This state agency, operating from Albany, is in charge of the distribution of the state of New York funding for the 400 year anniversary celebration. Under Tara's leadership, the commission has assisted in the development of a wonderful website which includes an event calendar for 2009. The website is being updated nearly constantly, and can be found at www.exploreNY400.com . One of the major projects funded by the commission to date is the “Walkway over the Hudson” project which will create a linear park on the historic Poughkeepsie Highland Railroad Bridge.
